Upcoming Microsoft changes
As of October 2026, Microsoft are introducing changes to their email service which will restrict the functionality available to some third-party and non-Microsoft native email applications, including Apple Mail (the native Mail app on macOS and iOS).
These applications may experience reduced functionality or may cease to work when accessing University mailboxes.
Action required
While these applications may currently function, compatibility cannot be guaranteed going forward.
Therefore, we recommend only using the supported Outlook applications: Outlook on the web, Outlook desktop and the Outlook mobile application.
